- Open the background and a Person Image in PSP.
- Go to Colours>increase colour depth to 16mill ( Ctrl + Shift + 0 ) ie:0 zero not capital O.
- Effects>Plugins>Idecay>Accident>nasty 98>OK.
- Colours>Colorize> Hue 18; Saturation 71>OK.
- Click on your Selection Tool> and on Tool Settings Pallette> Selection type Eclipse; Feather 26;
Antialias Checked - Now -
Holding cursor over the image look at the bottom bar on your workspace and on lefthand side you will see 2 numbers in brackets, when
these numbers read (30,50) left click and holding down mouse button drag down and across a bit to
the right until selection goes from top to bottom and covers about 1/2 of image, then let mouse button go. The Selection you have
just made will spring outwards by the 26 pixels that you input into the feather section of the
settings.
- Edit>Copy. ( Ctrl + C )
- Now click on the background image to make it the active image and Edit>Paste as new layer.
( Ctrl + L )
- Select your Erasor Tool>and on Tool Settings Pallette> Shape Round; Size 23; Hardness 24; Opacity 30;
Step 25; Density 100; Build Up Checked - and erase the leftside of their face and eye (both eyes on female)
You will notice when you do this that a black line will appear down the leftside of the image
- Select your Mover Tool and left click on person face and holding down mouse button drag across to the left till the line disappears.
- Layers>New Raster Layer.
- Select your Text Tool now and left click on your image in bottom left 1/4 where the lines show horizontal on the image>
Styles/Stroke Null; Styles/Fill Solid colour and left click on colour swatch and change HTML Code to #B99981; Textures both Null;
Kerning & Leading 0; Auto Kern Checked; Size 8; in capitals type your name in the enter text here panel;
now in font name choose a Font that looks good and fits your name in position as per image below -
( I used Californian FB on the female one and Engravers MT on male one but you choose from your own selection of fonts for one you want to use.)>OK.
- While Marquee wriggling around the letters still hold cursor over name till a 4way arrow symbol appears
and then left click and holding mouse button down place your name to where it is to sit.
- Selections>Select None ( Ctrl + D )
- Add Your own little bit of magic.
- Layers>Merge>Merge All (Flatten)
- Time to go play and experiment with the things you have learned today.... Have fun .... woven
