By xwovenwolfx
This lesson was written using PSP X, but will work with other previous versions.
The Bold writing are the keyboard shortcuts for each action. You may or may not need to have the [ F lock ] on your keyboard activated for these to work
1. Make a new image.Go to Top menu bar and click on File>New> height=150> width=150> background colour white.
2. Make a New Raster Layer.
3. Using your Preset Shapes tool - Left hand menu 4th from the bottom
( P )
and select the oval shape.
Next go to the Tool Pallette and use the following settings.

And on your Material Pallette have your foreground colour=black; background colour=unchecked.
4. Make a circle as in following image.

5. Make a new Raster Layer.
6. Select your Text tool - Left hand menu 5th from bottom
( T)
Then go to the Tool Pallette and choose your font. In the example I have used Arial Black size 30.
7. Now with your Text tool selected hold your mouse over the line of the circle until you see this symbol
A) and left click. This will bring up the Text Pop up and in here you write your text.
Depending on where you click on the circle is where your text starts.
Now it is time for you to play and experiment.
Below are some example using different Preset Shapes instead of the circle.
Just remember the more intricate the shape eg. The Star there will be a time delay between typing and when text appears on image so it pays to keep the shape simple.
